who delivered some moving speeches. Others include Barack Obama
and Condoleezza Rice.

Something unique?
A diverse background and upbringing. Born in Switzerland to Somali
Diplomats who, throughout diplomacy, relocated to and from various
different places globally. Initially spent a modest part of my childhood
years in New York. The latter part of my childhood, along with a good
part of my formative years, were also spent living and schooling
abroad, particularly in Ethiopia (and briefly in Kenya and the UAE). We
would then return and immigrate back to the US; this time settling in
Northern Virginia where I would finish up and graduate High School. I
was a pretty well-traveled kid for the most part – having been to and
lived in four continents altogether!
Father’s Alma-Mater?
Hull University, England (1963).
*An interesting fact - during his studies there, taken in by the British at the time, he also worked at Turkish Delight
where he was assigned to factory custodial duties; income earned would then be used towards pocket money.
Siblings?
Two brothers – Omar Osman and Mohamed Osman.
